Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Manajemen Aset Berbasis Web Dengan Fitur QR Code Untuk Optimalisasi Inventaris Barang di AMIK Universal
Abstract
Asset management is a crucial aspect of higher education institutions, including AMIK Universal, which requires accurate and efficient inventory recording. Conventional methods using manual recording often result in data inaccuracies, difficulty in tracking asset conditions, and time-consuming reporting. This study aims to design and build a web-based asset management information system with QR Code features to optimize inventory at AMIK Universal. The system was developed using the Waterfall methodology, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system features asset data management, QR Code generator, QR Code scanner, asset categorization, condition monitoring, maintenance history, dashboard, reporting, and notification. Data were collected through interviews with administrative staff and observation of the asset management process at AMIK Universal. Testing was conducted using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with 30 respondents. The results show that the system successfully improves inventory recording accuracy from 70% to 95%, reduces asset data recording time by 65%, and achieves a user satisfaction score of 4.36 (very good category). This study concludes that the web-based asset management system with QR Code is effective in optimizing inventory and can be implemented in other higher education institutions.
