Perancangan Aplikasi Directory Berbasis Hybrid Dengan Metode Scrum (Studi Kasus: Grand Batam Mall)
Abstract
The continuous expansion of modern shopping centers has created significant information barriers for consumers when searching for target stores. Paper-based directory maps only provide static floor plan information and cannot fulfill real-time, precise location-finding needs. This study aims to design and implement a Hybrid-based mobile directory application using the Scrum agile development method, with Grand Batam Mall as a case study. The Hybrid application is built using standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling a single codebase to run on both iOS and Android platforms. The Scrum framework, through Product Backlog, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, and Sprint Review, enables rapid response to requirement changes and effective development progress control. The research was conducted through five stages: data collection, problem identification, requirements analysis, application design, and system implementation. Testing employed Black Box Testing to verify application functionality. The results show that the Scrum method effectively supports iterative development of the directory application, achieving a 100% pass rate in functional testing and maintaining development duration within the predetermined schedule. This study provides a technical scheme and process framework that can serve as a reference for the design and development of shopping center directory applications.
