Pendampingan Digitalisasi Sistem Pencatatan Posyandu Berbasis Web Untuk Pemantauan Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak di Medan Johor

Abstract

Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) serves as a fundamental community-based health facility in Indonesia, particularly for monitoring maternal and child health. However, many Posyandu still rely on manual recording systems using paper-based forms, resulting in data redundancy, difficulty in generating reports, and limited accessibility of health data. This community service activity aims to provide assistance in digitalizing the recording and reporting system of Posyandu through a web-based information system to improve the quality of maternal and child health monitoring in Medan Johor District. The activity was conducted in four stages: preparation, training, mentoring, and evaluation, involving 25 participants consisting of Posyandu cadres and health workers. The training was delivered through presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on practice using the Posyandu information system. The evaluation results showed that participants' understanding increased significantly, with an average pre-test score of 42.8 and a post-test score of 86.5, representing a 102% improvement. Participant satisfaction with the training reached 4.42 on a 5-point Likert scale (very good category). The activity also succeeded in producing a functional Posyandu information system that can be used to record maternal and child health data digitally. This activity concludes that assistance in digitalizing the Posyandu recording and reporting system is effective in improving the quality of maternal and child health monitoring and can be implemented in other regions.
