This study designs a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) for optimizing EV charging station placement in urban areas. The system integrates scenario-based charging demand analysis, multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods, and geospatial data visualization to provide actionable recommendations for infrastructure planners. The research employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for criteria weighting, TOPSIS for alternative ranking, and incorporates load characterization data from previous studies on electric two-wheeler and bus fleets. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with Bootstrap frontend, Leaflet.js for mapping, and MySQL database. Testing under three charging demand scenarios (S1 balanced, S2 concentrated, and peak load conditions) demonstrates the system's effectiveness in identifying optimal charging locations based on accessibility, grid capacity, solar integration potential, and investment cost criteria. The DSS provides real-time geospatial simulation capabilities, enabling stakeholders to compare diverse planning scenarios and make data-driven decisions. This research contributes to the advancement of smart city infrastructure planning in Indonesia by offering a scalable, open-data-driven decision support tool for sustainable urban mobility.

However, many MSMEs still face significant operational challenges due to manual recording systems, lack of data integration, and limited access to real-time business information. This research analyzes the implementation of Business Management Information Systems (BMIS) in improving MSME operational efficiency in the digital transformation era. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with case studies on 5 MSMEs in Medan City. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results show that BMIS implementation significantly reduces transaction recording time from 1-2 hours to 15-30 minutes per day, improves inventory control accuracy by up to 40%, and enables real-time access to business information. The main challenges identified include low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and implementation costs. This research concludes that BMIS is not only an administrative tool but also a strategic instrument in MSME digital transformation to enhance competitiveness in the digital era

Conventional methods that rely on subjective assessments often result in less than optimal placement of new members. This research develops a Decision Support System (DSS) for recruitment and position assignment of prospective student organization members using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Profile Matching methods. AHP is used for criteria weighting, while Profile Matching calculates competency suitability based on the gap against the ideal profile for each department. The system was developed using the Prototype methodology with web-based implementation. Testing using Black Box Testing showed 100% calculation accuracy. The conventional method resulted in a 75% suitability rate, while the proposed system achieved 80% with a relative improvement of 6.67%. This proves that the system is more accurate in providing placement recommendations for prospective members compared to conventional methods.

Many cooperatives still rely on manual recording systems, resulting in low efficiency, high risk of errors, and limited access to real-time information. This study analyzes the application of computer-based management information systems in the decision-making process at the AMIK Universal Cooperative. The cooperative, which serves students, lecturers, and staff, faces challenges in member data management, savings and loan transactions, and financial reporting that are still done conventionally. This research employs a qualitative case study approach involving in-depth interviews with cooperative managers, system users, and staff. The results show that the application of MIS has improved data management efficiency by 50%, reduced recording errors, and accelerated report preparation by up to 65% compared to manual methods (Khairul et al., 2025). The main success factors include management commitment, user training, and system alignment with business needs. Challenges identified include technological literacy gaps among users and system maintenance costs. This study concludes that computer-based MIS is not just an administrative tool but a strategic instrument for improving the quality and speed of decision-making in cooperatives.
